It got below 20 degrees today, which was a nice break from 99 degrees. There were icesickles on the fountain in one of the courtyard, and a friendly stranger reached out over the nasty green water to break one off. ^_^
The weather looks pretty, since there is white frost around, but it comes with a few disadvantages:
With the temperature what it is, I have to dress in four or five layers. I can easily get over looking retarded (fur coat plus leather trenchcoat equals PIMP, plus yellow Menchi hat equals RETARD :p), but I get kind of annoyed at having the motor skills of a blind, brain-damaged, five-thumbed chimp. Dialing a cellphone number, even with speed dial becomes impossible. Walking down isles between desks means knocking papers off and brushing against the filthy belongings of other people. One feels as though one is peeling one's skin on and off just to go to the bathroom. And socks within socks within house-shoes are itchy. It realy is that cold, even inside the house, because my dad is warm at 65 degrees. And the long term effects of showering (hypothermia) aren't looking very inviting either.
I suppose I should actually give you guys a straight Christmas list tho ^_^ So here it is:
1. Plush cactar! The big one that looks cool ^_^
2. Ayumi Hamasaki CDs (soo cool)
3. Anime figurines (like the big ones from Advent Children!)
4. Most of all: To be with my Tandayo *smiles thoughtfully*
