Haha! I just saw this banner that said: "SAVE THE HUMANS!"

*heeheehee*

I really should try to remember not to read other peoples' diaries before I make entries...

Anyway, in the news.
I don't live in california, but this is a huge beating to the kinds of people I Seriously Don't Like (TM) (Secretly Alive has gone corporate, as you can see). Governor Ahnold has passed a law against assaultive pursuit by paparazzi. This is good. You might say "Celebrities? Who cares about celebrities, they're rich enough to get over it." In most cases, I agree. But paparazzi are scummy people. Scummy PeopleŽ are the kind who intentionally crash an actress with their cars so they can photograph her baby. I mean, come ON. I bet the photos of her bruised and broken body are worth a lot, but is decency a word out of a dead language? So now the photo-whores losse the entire paycheck for such a picture, along with whatever it costs to cover the damage three times. That ought to deter them, I think, and it's about time.

Mangey, freeking...*inaudible mumbling*

Local news. Like a million fires broke out over across the highway from Kouji. People who live in neighborhoods over near 287 were dousing their houses with water. Not sure if that would work, but it shows they were pretty freaked out. Lucky for Kouji, he is currently out of town and safe from being burned alive.

Merry Christmas to you all, by the way. Or Happy Hannukah ^_^ I'm not usually into presents, but I was pleasantly surprsed by what I got this year. I ordered most of it off Ebay, so the fun is waiting for the goodies to arrive. THE FIRST ONE CAME TODAY AND OHMYGOSHIT'SSOCOOL! As I came in the door and saw it I grinned and peered at the box from every possible angle, dripping with glee. (Fun fact, if you mistype "grin" you get "groin"...how do you "groin" at something?--Wait, I don't want to know).
The present that I ordered is a 1/7 PVC/ABS figurine of Kasumi from DOA ^____^ I'm hugely into figures, despite their complete lack of practical use. It's so PRETTY!

Besides that, I've pretty busy. I want to finish Kouji's Christmas present before he gets back home. This has been my daily scheduale:

--8:00 Wake up, pee, wash face, brush teeth

--8:15-15:35 Turn on computer and begin coloring and shading pictures. Continue only stopping to stretch, and occasionally get up and get a drink. Then sit back down and work until on the verge of peeing self. Get up, pee, return to work.

--15:35 Dad says "Want some food?" You say "Okay" Go eat fast food, hurry home.

--16:05 Back to work, shade, color, stretch, pee, restart computer to conserve RAM...

3:29 AM--turn off computer and go to bed.

Finally though, I am almost finished. I only need to add a background to my last picture, so I figured I'd give you all a heads-up. Kouji should be home tomorrow. I can't help but be a little frustrated with his family for keeping him out in the boonies so long, but it's prolly just the lack of sleep talking. I like Kouji's family. I love them. I love everybodies families...*droool*....

Funny/sad/interesting story: Occasionally, as I happily toil along, Kouji will call me on my cellphone. This makes me jolt with a start, jump a foot in the air, then smile when I realize who is making my phone vibrate and ring. However, today, something went wrong. I heard my phone ring, and reached into my pocket, but it was nowhere to be found. I realized it must've fallen out into the trashcan, which sits close by the desk on that side. I've had a cold though, so the trashcan is brimming with nasty, wet tissues, and this nasty snot-encrusted juice can that I threw in there a couple of days ago. But my phone is still ringing, from somewhere down there, and the trashcan is this hilarious blueish, glowing, jostling pile of tissues. You're prolly feeling bad for me, the one who had to reach in there and get it, but you should be feeling sorry for the poor moron who called me and wasn't Kouji.

*smiles* so needless to say, it's been a long week. Not a bad one, it's been fun. I like coloring and staying up late. But it has been long. I'm going to finish this picture, and get to bed early tonight I think. Or stay up late again, only this time, doing something completely useless to pass time ^_~
Happy Christma-Hanna-Kwanzikah!
